Frequently asked questions
APPRENTICESHIPS AND PIERCING
Forever Tattoo is not offering apprenticeship at this time.
Also, we do not offer any piercing services at Forever Tattoo.MINORS
The artists at Forever Tattoo do NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 18. In our collective experience, tattooing minors, even with parental consent, causes more problems than it cures.
If you are under 18 and are serious about your work than you will wait to get the best tattoo you can get. And if not, we will be here when you turn 18 to do your cover up.
SHOP HOURS AND SCHEDULING
Forever Tattoo is currently open Tuesday to Saturday, 12-7pm. CLOSED Sunday and Monday. Please Call during shop hours to talk to an artist, or stop by during business hours to set up a consultation or appointment as needed.
CONSULTATIONS
While we do offer walk-ins every day, you will need a consultation before getting tattooed by some of our more established artists at Forever Tattoo.
The reason we do this is to get a better feel of where you want the tattoo, what you are getting tattooed and why you are getting your tattoo. Some things can be worked out online for out of town clients, but the more personal attention we can give your idea, the better we can execute the design.
DEPOSITS AND MINIMUMS
All tattoos and drawings requiring an appointment also require a deposit. Deposits also vary from artist to artist. Deposits come off the last sitting of any tattoo, and hold your appointments for the duration of tattoos requiring multiple sittings.
Also, the shop minimum is $100. No matter how small or simple the design, this is the absolute minimum shop charge for a tattoo.
TIPPING
While tipping is NOT required, it IS appreciated!
We don't live off tips, so there is no established rule of thumb like a waiter or bartender.
Just tip how much you feel your artist deserves based on the service you have received.
Finally, most artists prefer to get tipped on a sitting by sitting basis, but if you'd rather tip at the end of a large project, it couldn't hurt to let them know at the outset.
